So, I tried opening this discussion back in November and then forgot to check back about it... I'm not sure why it didn't "take" last time I tried it... Must have been a connection issue. We were having major issues with our internet at school in the first semester.

ANYWAYS.

One of the things that we've found helps students engage with the use of iPads in the classroom is allowing THEM to help us pick apps to use. We created a simple graphic organizer that lets students "rate" the apps. We did a jig-saw model so that small groups found, rated and presented apps to the rest of the class. It was pretty successful in determining which of the apps the students actually liked.

Would you be able to share the graphic organizer that you created for rating your apps?

Thanks,

Judy

I'd be happy to share!!
