Associate Teacher Survey

The Ministry of Education, with the support of the province’s teachers’ federations, conducted an on-line survey of teachers about the associate teacher role in March/April, 2011. The survey was open to all teachers in the province’s publicly funded education system. The survey received a total of 4,831 responses, including 4,252 English responses and 579 French responses. 

The Ministry contracted R.A. Malatest & Associates Ltd. to complete detailed analysis of the survey data and compile a final report summarizing the results and key findings from the survey. Here is the executive summary and conclusions from the final report:
