Possible response or sharing activities related to Learning Focused Conversations include engaging in a series of face to face Planning / Reflecting / Problem Solving coaching conversations.

  • Questions for Reflection:
    • How did I demonstrate that I was attending fully?
    • How did I use pausing and paraphrasing?
    • What specific examples of open-ended questions did I use to help the person explore their options?
    • What specific next steps and tools for self-evaluation did the person I coached leave our conversation with?
    • Why do I think that listening such an integral part of any mentoring relationship?
    • What aspects of mentoring do I find most challenging?
    • Thinking about specific coaching attributes, what areas would I like to continue to focus on in my mentoring relationships?
