Patterning and Algebra a Visual Representaion

Our goal is to develop a visual representation to support teachers in developing fundamental patterning and algebra ideas. This representation will provide teachers with a clearer understanding of the connections between the curriculum expectations at each grade level and highlight the importance of exposing students to different representations of linear relationships.

Visual Guide of Patterning and Algebra ideas K to 9.

This guide is a teacher resource that shows the continuum of algebraic thinking. It also demonstrates the connections between representations as the ideas develop over time.
