After a few months of editing together teacher responses, I managed to create the following video regarding our Flipped Classroom experience. Please have a look:

I just spent the last day and a half at ISTE 2015 in virtual discussions with teachers from at least 4 different continents - the immense learning that is happening is truly amazing, and I would not be a part of it if I had not become a part of the TLLP.  The best thing that I learned about today that might be helpful for others who are working on their projects is a website called Zaption - https://www.zaption.com/ - where you can take videos from YouTube and tailor them to fit your classroom needs.  You can add multiple choice questions, open response questions, tie snipits of video together, and create lessons that are interactive and go at the pace of the individual learner.  I highly recommend that you check it out if you have the chance!

Well it is the last day of school before exams and we have had our last TLLP meeting of the year. What an awesome experience it has been to share and learn with other teachers. We got to debrief over our virtual day with a D2L expert and reflect on all the things that we have developed together and learned throughout the project. After every meeting I have asked the teachers in the group to write a reflection, which has been invaluable in documenting our progress. Where there places that could have used improvement ? Absolutely! Have we grow as a group and individuals? Absolutely! Do we still have more work to do? Absolutely!  However, The inspiration and motivation of our collective PLT has superseded my expectations for this project and has laid down a grassroots foundation of collaboration that has spread throughout our school. So we end our last meeting with excitement for the summer but with a commitment to keep our work going in the fall. I would like to thank the TLLP for this fantastic opportunity.

Great suggestion, Jaclyn.  That is something definitely our group needs to do.

For anyone sharing about their TLLP at BIT14 (ECOO and OASBO) -

When the committee selected sessions from all the proposals, I noticed some that I thought might be TLLP sharing sessions that didn't explicitly state #TLLP (and we didn't explicitly ask - we will in future). If you want your session description to be tagged #TLLP (which would be great) can you make sure that it is added in your session description when you confirm it? Or, you can add it on Lanyrd when the time comes, or you can email me at jaccalder@mac.com and I'll make sure its added.  It would be nice to be able to see which sessions are growing from TLLP. :)

What a whirlwind day. It must be June!
Today had Track & Field Oakville municipal Meet and dashed to join the adobe connect TLLP-TVO platform. My vote so far is for Teach Ontario! So exciting all the various possibilities exploring/creating & sharing/and most importantly connecting-it's all about relationships! Then went back to my own school for our final wrap up of our Wednesdays after-school Smartboard training sessions with our school board itinerant. (This became an extension of our TLLP). My dashing to the adobe connect worked wonders for four of my students who came in 1st in the 100m dash and will compete Friday at the HCDSB SYSTEM MEET-so thrilling to watch. Now off to finish reports. Yeah:)
Again thanks for the opportunity to connect.

Hi Louise,
My colleague, Angie Barrett, and I had an opportunity to see the latest version of the TVO platform today and were excited by the possibilities. It is a challenge to build something with so much potential and amazing resources and still keep the ease of use and navigation features simple.

Creating that sense of connection, community, and practical application is going to be key to building momentum.

Can't wait to see how it evolves and get in there and play.

Jennifer Regier and I will be presenting at ECOO 2014 about our successes this year implementing Blogs as Digital Portfolios in grades K-6, across 10 different schools in the AMDSB. Funding for this project was provided by the AMDSB for the 2013-2014 school year. We have received TLLP funding for the 2014-2015 school year to continue on with our project, and extend our project group to an additional 10 new teachers in the AMDSB. We are looking forward to presenting at ECOO, and connecting with others here, and at the conference.

Thanks to both you and Pete for your input at today's online focus group - like you I'm excited to "walk and talk" with the TVO platform.

Happy Wednesday!

Hey Jim,
Great to chat with you today! We still think 'Teach Ontario' would be a great name for the TVO online platform. We can't wait to start exploring the site.
