It has been an awesome year for our team at Regina Street Public School. Thanks to our involvement in the TLLP, we have had many opportunities to pursue our goals related to bringing the classroom outdoors at our little school in the Brittania neighbourhood of Ottawa.

We have had the opportunity to share our program ideas at a number of professional learning functions including the annual OCETF PD day as well as the OCDSB Spring Leadership Conference. By collaborating with local artists, musicians and environmental organizations, we have been able to create some truly meaningful and exciting learning experiences for our students.

Our field guide and math trail projects are ongoing but you will find samples of student work related to our outdoor learning experiences on our website. More to come!

If you are curious about the specifics of our TLLP project, or would like to share your own experiences and ideas about outdoor teaching and learning, we would love to hear from you. Please check out our website at: themudlakeproject.ca. Or follow us on Twitter @mudlakeproject.
