iPads in the Math and Science Classroom - our group website

We have been implementing our TLLP project - iPads in the Math and Science Classroom - since September in our gr. 9 and 10 enriched math and science courses.  We have set up a website to chronicle our experiences.  The site includes an overview of our project; the deployment experience; a semi-regular blog of our joys and frustrations; reviews of APPS we've used and samples of student work.  The site is still a work-in-progress, but we thought we would share the link with the TLLP group at…See More

setting up the iPads

Just spent the morning getting the iPads organized.  All thirty are now labelled and sitting in the shiny new cart with the computer expert downloading our long list of apps.  My TLLP partner Sue and I stood back admiring how fancy the whole setup looked and then simultaneously sighed at the realization that we are now responsible for turning those awesome new toys into educational powerhouses....thankfully we still have a lot of summer left to figure out how to transform our courses into…See More

Hi Sue,

You had mentioned that you are interested in working with the LMS.  I am currently part of a TLLP group that has made the LMS our focus.  If you have not already done so, please check out coursehelp.ca as it is a great starting point for beginners!  This 2014-15 TLLP year, my group will use iPads to create a blended learning environment using the LMS.
