Inspiring Inquiry - a few thoughts on our TLLP journey so far

When my team signed up for this project, we had four members and were gung-ho to begin.  Inquiry and technology!  We did a lot of leg work over the summer, reading, conferences, etc.  But then things got tricky.

We lost one member to to surplus, and she is now at another school.  We lost another member to a surprise retirement, and that left us with two.  And then, to my surprise, I found out that I was pregnant and due in March!  Which to me was the best news ever, but not good news…

TLLP - Student Engagement: Improving Numeracy and Literacy Skills through Experiential Learning (Technology)

Hello everyone,

The focus of our TLLP was to provide opportunities for Grade 7/8 students to explore trades and technology while simultaneously applying numeracy and literacy skills through project-based learning. Students selected one of the following technological areas to explore: construction, manufacturing, transportation, hospitality, or media during a technology day or weekly camp.
